Melaque and Barra De Navidad have a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants. During the daytime you can spend an afternoon walking along Melaque beach to discover the cheap and friendly restaurants overlooking the bay. By night, investigate the various late night bars and restaurants of Barra De Navidad's main street.

The most popular bar in Barra De Navidad. Every Wed to Sun they host live bands which usually vary from blues to rock. The rest of the week you can enjoy a great atmosphere with blues & rock music playing, a pool table and a great view of the bay. The owner of this bar 'Piper' and staff are very friendly and speak great English. A great bar to check out during your stay in the area.

The bar is located upstairs, and is the last bar on the right hand side before you arrive at the Malecon in Barra De Navidad.

Very popular bar with live music and dancing every night. Very friendly and entertaining owners & staff who all speak English. There's a very long happy hour from 2pm-9pm! Bigotes has a great selection of food ranging from snacks to full dinners. A trip to Melaque would not be complete without stopping off for drinks at Bigotes.

Location -- Melaque
Walk to the end of the main street of Melaque towards the beach, turn left and walk along the beach for 50m approx....you can't miss it!

Extremely popular bar due to its good drinks, good music & great people. Pool table, T.V. & jukebox available. Relax with a drink as you watch the comings and goings of the people in the street below from the famous 'Barber Chair'. Also check in here for local surf reports and information.

Above Alcatraz Floreria which is located just off the main square, in the street that is known as Taco Row. Look out for the blue lights on the balcony.

This cool rooftop bar is located on the main strip of Barra De Navidad. If you like to watch the nightly goings on, there's a great little terraced area to watch out onto the street from.

La Azotea is located on the main street in downtown Barra De Navidad. Look out for the doorway and it's straight up the stairs.

Seamaster is a wonderful restaurant but it becomes a very popular bar every weekend during the holiday season. It is normally frequented by the younger crowd, with locals and tourists dancing the night away.
