Melaque and Barra De Navidad have a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants. During the daytime you can spend an afternoon walking along Melaque beach to discover the cheap and friendly restaurants overlooking the bay. By night, investigate the various late night bars and restaurants of Barra De Navidad's main street.

Owned by a really nice Mexican lady who speaks perfect English. Great breakfasts & live traditional dancing one night a week on the terrace.

Walk along the beach towards Barra from Bigotes and take the first street on the left. You will see the terrace from the beach.

Opening Times
La Terraza is open daily for breakfasts, and Wednesday to Sunday for evening meals.

Hugely popular taco stand just off the main square in Melaque. Taco Surf has an extremely friendly owner who speaks great English. Everything is available here from various flavoured tacos, quesadillas, gringas, sincronizadas etc. All are served on fresh handmade tortillas. Not to be missed!
