There are a number of doctors, dentists & vets available in Melaque and Barra De Navidad. If you require any of these services during your stay in the area, they are easily and cheaply available.

Melaque and Barra De Navidad have many internet cafes and PC repair shops to choose from. It is almost impossible not to spot them as you stroll through the streets. I have listed a handful of our favorites to get you started.

Las Antorchas Cybercafe - Melaque
Located upstairs on the east side of main square in Melaque. Skype installed on computers.

Los Ponchos Cafe - Melaque
Located next to main bus depot office. Wireless connection available. Skype installed on computers.

Alonso's Internet - Melaque
Located opposite the market on Melaque's main street. This cyber cafe is air conditioned, and therefore usually quite busy with people cooling off whilst checking up on their emails. Skype installed on computers.

Soluciones Informaticas - Melaque
PC & Laptop Repairs available. English spoken. Skype installed on computers.

Bahia Internet - Melaque
Internet cafe located in Villa Obregon opposite the clock for the local bus drivers. Brand new computers & English spoken. Skype installed on computers.

Car Rental

Airport Transport

Taxis
There are three taxi stands in the Melaque area. One is located at the main square in San Patricio. One is located downtown Melaque at the bus depot. The other is located in Villa Obregon at their new community square. Prices are $25 pesos for local community, $40 pesos to Cuastacomates, or Barra during daytime hours, and $50-$60 pesos at night time. Melaque to Manzanillo Airport $250 pesos, and Airport to Melaque or Barra De Navidad $320 pesos.

Buses
The main bus terminal in Melaque is quite large and very popular. You can catch a bus to almost everywhere in the local vicinity and the outlying areas and towns. Local buses are very frequent, with the 'orange bus' winding through most of Melaque and Villa Obregon before continuing along the highway to Jaluco and Barra De Navidad. Fares on the local buses cost approximately $5 pesos per journey, and you can be dropped off anywhere along the route.

Primera Plus coaches also leave this terminal to places such as Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Colima and Guadalajara.
